The Word, "Doonamoo" means to be strengthened which comes from Colossians 1:11, "May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy." The target groups are those described in Matt. 25:34-40. Our missionaries serve the poor of all nations, so that they could live an abundant life in all areas of lives (John 10:10 and 3 John 1: 2), not by giving them fish but by teaching them how to catch fish. Most of our products are produced by the poor or their friends. Dr. Paul Yoo, who received this vision from the Lord, went to Fuller theological seminary and completed M. Div. degree, and organized New Village Movement International with worldly recognized missionaries. He served Philippines as a missionary for 4 year, where He found a high school with 400 students enrolled now. All the projects are not intended for giving them fish, but teaching them how to catch fish. All the projects should be owned by the poor, not by missionaries. All our products of Doonamoo are parts of those projects, and 100% profit of Doonamoo goes back to the mission. Rev. Dr. Paul Yoo, the president of NVMI mission, has been offering free seminars to any missionary applicants to serve the poor or any leader-applicants who like to start a house church.
